'Ghost Town' The New Single

Ghost Town
With summer knocking at the door and long sunny days within our reach, Katie Melua releases the reggae-influenced 'Ghost Town'.

The fourth single from Katie's European number 1 album 'Pictures', 'Ghost Town' has proved to be an audience favourite on Katie's latest three month tour which included a one-off show at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Aged 23 Katie has sold almost 9 million albums and is one of Britain's most successful and loved artists of this millennium. No mean feat for a singer on an independent record label and one who goes about her business in a quiet and dignified manner avoiding the media hoopla and industry trappings that can turn many a previously level head.

Often vocal about her love of film, and having already appeared in Edgar Wrights' Grindhouse trailer 'Don't', Katie has recently been confirmed as the lead artist on the soundtrack for Faintheart, the world's first feature film which has been shaped by the MySpace community.

Having spent the majority of 2008 on tour out of the country, Katie will return for a series of shows before her largest UK arena tour to date in October/ November.

'Ghost Town' released on June 23rd, 2008
